Sixth folk-song quiz, near by Szeret (the river), in Trunk

As last year the premier in Bákó, now the folk-song quiz took place there where haven’t ever been such a big Hungarian event like this organised.
I’m glad to write that Trunk the fisher-village in the past, was a great entertainer! At the day of the competition, even the heanvenlyes gave their blessing too; the weather was so nice, after the cloudy days. The competitors, and their attendants arrived from the early morning. They get a fresh, local-made milk-loaf and a hot tea from the hostes of Trunk.
At the opening ceremony, wich started at 10 am, the hall belonging to school was full. The opener was Adrián Solomon, and after it Izabella Botezau, from Csíkszereda, Mária Budó, from Turnk, and Géza Fábri were singing beautifully, the latest used koboz, an Hungarian traditional instrument.
Than the competition started. There was two different room for the quiz, one for younger and the other for older participats. In both room the presentations started with the opening of winners oflast year. We could hear Krisztián Kovács, the prizeman of the „Hajnal Akar Lenni” called folk-song quiz wich was in Szatmárnémeti in this year.
We can tell; this is not banality, that the quality of the race is more and more better. The productions were brave, with a various repertoire, and with a great variations. The jury gave the silver-, and gold qulification, in both age group.
As the competition finished, next was the lunch. After the lunch, the children form Trunk, with their teachers made a marionett-performance for the guests. Than came the most exciting thing, to publish the reults. Everybody got a small present and a certficate, nobody went home with empty hands.
When the celebrating stopped, the visitors came back to their accomodations, to have a rest and they met again in the evening at the place of the gala. We were eating a very delicious, local made Hungarian gulas (a soup), during we watched the day-ending show of the gala. The winners of the day were presenting something but the openers were Mária Budó and Mihály Róka, singers from Trunk with the combined sing. The next were the children from Csíkfalu. They prepared a wonderfull dance and song presentation for this night.
The song and koboz dual of Tünde Ivánovics and Géza Fábrihad a fantastic success. The evening program was closed by the performance of local girls and woman, they were prepared to this event with a high emthusiasm so they served their success.
When the show finished, great musicians made a great dance music. The name of the group is „Veres Kheldár Rememberband” wich members are the children, who are learning in Csíkszereda plus their previous and current teachers. They made a good atmosphere, and made a good music for the dancer. The day finished with this cheerful amusement.
